A thick and thin version of type 49218, this yarn is a delight. The changes in thickness provide a gentle undulation of texture. The yarn sucks up the dye and it speckles extremely well. This yarn is a singles so care needs to be taken if hand painting or using a technique that uses a lot of abrasion against the fibres as it may pill. The resulting knitted fabric is gorgeous, it is softly textured and would make super cowls and accessories, sweaters in this yarn would also be nice.

This yarn is lovely to dye with. It’s a soft roving yarn with undulating thick and thin sections, the thicker sections are spun looser than the thin ones. It results in a soft, gently textured fabric. This yarn takes the dye really well, and Speckles also work well on this yarn. This yarn also comes in Chunky.
