This toothy Highland wool base is pre-dyed with grey to black segments running through it to add interest. The yarn takes the dye well, but speckles spread on this yarn.

The yarn makes a lovely fabric which keeps its shape really well when knitted. It would make a lovely woven fabric.

This is a toothy DK which contains naturally black stripes through the yarn, and in places is grey. It takes the dye well, the colours appear softer than on a superwash and speckles spread gently. The yarn is a softer twist and the knitted fabric holds its shape well. Would be nice for fairlise.
