WPI: 14/15 Would work as a warp and weft, although the yarn may fluff somewhat if used as a warp.
Gauge: 4mm needles 21sts and 29rows over 10cm
This yarn is a gorgeous silky smooth Aran with a delightful drape. I used 4mm needles for the swatch as the yarn is very smooth and this worked and blocked out really well. The yarn takes the dye nicely and as expected with Alpaca the colours have a soft muted tone. Speckles gently spread. This knits really evenly and will be glorious for warm sweaters, cowls and scarves and hats that are softer in shape.
