The shiniest of yarns. This super silky base is very special. The yarn takes the dye really well. In order to help get the yarn saturated; it helps to give this yarn a good soaking for a few hours, or over night before dyeing. Using warm water will help this process speed up. The base is very white, and colours appear strong and bright. this speckles well, and hand paints look exquisite as the colours merge together in almost magical tones. This yarn is slippery, so being extra gentle with movement helps keep the skeins neat during dyeing. Suitable for shawls, scarfs and light weight spring and summer garments. Also works well paired with a fluffy base.
