This is a soft singles yarn with a glorious pearly shine to it. The fibres suck up the dye, and colours appear almost iridescent. Speckles spread on this base. Colours appear soft and bright. The knitted fabric holds its shape well and has a lovely stitch definition due to the construction, it also has a gentle halo. This would work for a weft, and it would probably work for a warp, but consideration needs to be given whether the weaving process may cause a lot of friction and therefore fluff up the yarn.
This is a delicate fingering weight yarn that takes dye like a dream and has a glorious shine and a soft halo once knitted. This softly spun single knits up to be a strong yet soft fabric. I used 2.75mm needles for this swatch, I think this could also be knit on a tighter gauge for socks, probably on a 2.25mm
